After speaking about Mel Gibson with my co-workers today, I realized again how silly The Passion of the Christ was and that it was, essentially, a remake of the last 30 minutes of Braveheart. Basically, take the section where William Wallace is mocked by the crowd to where he is ripped apart and then actually show all the graphic violence, and you have The Passion. There isn't any plot.
Apocalypto? Looks terrible. Growling kids for your trailer? Please.

Time to Switch?
The reason this all matters is because I am primarily interested in night photography. Long exposures are king in that field, unless I am shooting hand held, in which case I need speed, more speed than digital affords.
